Adventure Kids Summer Camp for Teens offers the best in summer adventure for teens. With Daily Adventures including Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, Hurricane Harbor, Boomers Mini Golf, Go Karts, Laser Tag, Trampoline Parks, Beaches, Archery, Bowling, Movies and more, your teen will have a summer full of fun, adventure and new friends. Our camp culture is ideal for teens to connect, develop lifelong friendships through fun, adventure, exploration and stretching of boundaries while growing as young men and women.
SAFETY is always our utmost priority while recognizing teens' need to grow and connect with peers. Older campers enjoy a larger camper to staff ratio and with written parental approval, older campers are allowed to "buddy up" with friends and enjoy more autonomy on adventure trip outings like Six Flags, Waterworld, Beaches, Mini Golf, Go Karts etc. while maintaining contact with staff throughout the trip while enjoying larger group activities like archery, bowling, movies etc. with all campers. Our adventures are designed to provide age appropriate but boundary stretching summer fun for all ages.
Our senior staff is always off duty education professionals or others with a high degree of experience working and directing groups of school age children. Support staff is generally drawn from college students or off duty or retired education professionals. We do not hire under age 20 as senior supervisory staff personnel and we always look to proven professionals or those with a demonstrated high level of awareness, friendliness, professionalism and sensibility where supervision of campers is involved.

Weeks may be moved to accommodate changing schedules with 7 days advance notice with no additional charge. Any cancellation will incur the standard cancellation policy/fee and remaining weeks will be adjusted to the next lowest number of weeks rate for refunds. Adventure Kids Summer Day Camp is designed for children ages 7 to 14. Each week we register up to 45 campers and the age range runs approximately 50/50 between ages 7-9 and 10-14 groups and genders tend to run about 50/50 as well. With adventures designed to cater to the interests of all ages in between, Campers always enjoy summer fun with peers in their age groups.
Campers are picked up in the morning at one of our central point transportation locations from North Oakland to Pleasanton or at their homes for those using home transport option. After campers are picked up they meet up with the rest of the group at Larkey Park or Osage Park in Danville, organize and head out for the days adventure. (see calendar for details) When the day is done campers are returned to their place of morning pick up.
Adventure Kids is an exclusively mobile camp and we have no central base camp for drop off. When a camper is registered parents select their desired pick up location (see below) Routes are scheduled the week prior to camp and precise times are communicated to parents at that time. While these times may vary slightly week to week the times below for the locations listed have been the general rule for the past 4-5 summers. Campers are returned to their selected pick up location in the afternoon. Home pick up and return service is also available.

Adventure Kids does not offer extended care service, however we do offer home transportation service which parents of older/ responsible campers use in place of this service.
Campers should bring a bag lunch, water bottle and snack to camp. They should come to camp fully sunscreened and bring extra screen as well.
Campers should wear appropriate clothing/shoes for the day of adventure. At Six Flags days money for lunch is advised as these locations do not allow outside food/beverage in. Money for popcorn and snacks at movies is optional but always makes for more fun.
